If none of the above subs are available, pitchers in the B League should feel free to call lower average pitchers from the A League.
Pitchers in the A League may call on B League members to sub.
The clue to successfully finding a sub is to start well ahead of the time when you will need a sub, instead of trying to get one yet on the day of league pitching. It becomes much more difficult to reach someone if you wait until the last minute. It then often happens that your potential sub cannot be reached and your team winds up having to forfeit games.
